Position Overview: We are in search of a seasoned Chief Operations Officer who will supervise the effectiveness of Onboarding, Risk & Compliance, and Business Operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring these functions are efficient and scalable to support growth. Additionally, you will lead our Business Intelligence team, which is tasked with maintaining data accuracy across the organization. This strategic position offers a unique opportunity to enhance operational efficiency, onboarding processes, and data reporting within a leading business model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support organizational leaders in making informed, data-driven decisions by developing business intelligence tools, visualizations, standards, and insightful presentations.
  • Oversee enterprise data intelligence and analytics for Finexio, including the design, development, and maintenance of the data warehouse, dashboards, and other analytical systems.
  • Collaborate with leadership, key stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to foster information sharing and coordinate the development of enterprise data intelligence.
  • Continuously assess processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancement. Work alongside the Product team to develop essential tools and automate routine tasks where feasible.
  • Ensure Finexio's operations align with industry best practices for payment processing, driving the organization towards operational excellence and compliance with SOC-2 principles.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with financial institution partners regarding operational and compliance matters.
  • Design and manage reports and dashboards that effectively capture significant operational data through leading and lagging indicators.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, guiding the team to achieve their best performance through specific KPIs and metrics.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of management and leadership experience in Operations and Payments Processing within a technology-enabled service environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing strategies for core service delivery departments.
  • A demonstrated history of process improvement analysis and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of B2B payment methods and processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence leadership and negotiate with both internal and external partners.
  • Experience managing Risk and Compliance functions, with the capability to evaluate processes and mitigate risks.
  • Hands-on experience with high-volume payment setup, initiation, and reconciliation.
  • Experience in financial services and/or FinTech/startup environments is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business is essential; an MBA is preferred.

Compensation: $140,000 - $180,000 + equity.
