We are currently seeking a Chief Advancement Officer to spearhead our next phase of growth and influence. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Advancement Officer will develop and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy, focusing on nurturing a robust individual donor network while cultivating relationships with corporate sponsors. This role is crucial for securing the resources necessary to propel Flippa's ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Fundraising:

  • Collaborate with the CEO to foster a culture of philanthropy throughout the organization.
  • Design and execute a holistic fundraising strategy aimed at significantly increasing financial contributions to support Flippa's mission.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of individual and major gift programs, corporate partnerships, grant applications, and fundraising events to meet organizational goals.
  • Establish targets, monitor progress, and report on the effectiveness of fundraising initiatives; analyze trends and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Donor Engagement and Stewardship:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors and potential supporters, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
  • Identify new grant opportunities and lead the strategy for securing funding.
  • Manage relationships with institutional funders, collaborating with the CEO as necessary.
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to enhance the organization's visibility and attract new supporters.
  • Lead the organization of fundraising events, including managing committees and maintaining donor relations.

Revenue Development:

  • Oversee strategies for earned revenue initiatives and manage relevant team members.
  • Encourage deeper engagement from program volunteers, fostering their transition into donors.

Administrative Leadership:

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the donor database.
  • Manage the Advancement team and oversee the development budget, ensuring efficient resource use.
  • Ensure compliance with fundraising processes and create standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to the Senior Leadership Team as a key advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors.
