Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

  • Manage the daily functions of the surgical department, including the scheduling of surgical procedures, staff allocation, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to facilitate a seamless workflow during surgical operations.
  • Track surgical case volume and modify staffing levels as necessary.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, onboard, and train surgical personnel (including nurses, surgical technologists, and support staff).
  • Conduct performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and promptly address any personnel-related concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience in operating room or registered nursing.
  • Certification from the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) is preferred.
