Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor provides recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. This role is responsible for supervising designated staff, providing orientation and training, and overseeing and providing nursing care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct designated staff in the delivery of nursing care
  • Provide orientation and training to new staff members
  • Oversee and provide nursing care to members served
  • Complete nursing assessments and develop care plans
  • Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning
  • Administer medications and treatments to members served
  • Receive and present change of shift report as assigned
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of program operations
  • Valid CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)/BLS (Basic Life Support) certificate
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree
  • Two (2) years of RN experience
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience
Work Environment

The employee is occasionally required to sit, squat, kneel, twist, push, pull and lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or less as well as to frequently walk, stand, bend, reach and do simple and power grasping. The position requires manual deviation, repetition and dexterity as well as Hazardous Exposure (Blood Borne Pathogens, Hospital Waste, Chemical & Infectious).
