Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our event spaces at SoFi Stadium. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for managing the back of house and front of house operations, ensuring seamless execution of events and exceeding our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and execution of banquets, conferences, and other events, ensuring timely and efficient setup, service, and breakdown.
- Manage a team of event staff, including assistant managers, supervisors, and banquet event coordinators, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure exceptional service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve event sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including culinary, stewarding, and marketing, to ensure seamless event execution.
- Monitor and maintain event equipment, inventory, and supplies, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety reviews and training sessions to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service and loyalty.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in banquet management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in managing events, teams, and budgets.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of event planning software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
- California Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Awareness Training required.
