Position Overview:

We are looking for experienced food service professionals to support our growth. If you are a high-performing Assistant Manager, General Manager, or Shift Supervisor seeking to transform your career trajectory, The Melt is the place for you.

Position Responsibilities:

As an integral member of the management team, the Food Service Supervisor collaborates closely with the General Manager to oversee store operations.

In the absence of the General Manager, the Supervisor assumes leadership of the store.


Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading the Crew: Directs Crew shifts and acts as the manager-in-charge.
  • Coaching and Development: Partners with the General Manager to mentor Crew Members.
  • Fostering a Positive Environment: Maintains a calm and professional demeanor while ensuring a supportive team atmosphere.
  • Performance Management: Provides constructive feedback to Crew Members to enhance operational excellence.
  • Staffing: Participates in the hiring process for new Crew Members.

Ensuring Service Excellence:
  • Delivers an "I Love It Here" experience for every guest.
  • Maintains high standards for service speed, order accuracy, product quality, and cleanliness.
  • Handles guest concerns with composure while embodying The Melt values.
  • Inspires and motivates Crew Members to achieve their best performance.

Managing Operations:
  • Executes opening and closing procedures effectively.
  • Ensures food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Adheres to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Manages shift schedules and optimizes performance.
  • Oversees inventory management and ordering processes.
  • Ensures compliance with cash management policies.

Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude and collaborative leadership style.
  • 1-2 years of management experience in Fast Casual, QSR, or Mid-Scale Casual Dining.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Availability to work 40-50 hours per week, including weekends.
  • Effective relationship-building skills.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred.
