Position Title: Culinary Supervisor
Salary: $85,000 - $87,500
Job Summary:
The Culinary Supervisor is integral to the success of our Food Program, ensuring adherence to client culture, health regulations, and our company’s standards for food quality and presentation. This role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, including administrative tasks, sanitation, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and maintaining ownership of the culinary space.
- Foster a passion for food and uphold the company’s commitment to quality and service.
- Ensure all products and purchases align with sustainability guidelines.
- Supervise staff hiring, training, and daily conduct, ensuring adherence to uniform standards and operational guidelines.
- Conduct staff evaluations, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Document compliance with hiring and training standards, including necessary paperwork and training completion.
Expectations:
- Deliver quality work within deadlines, with or without supervision.
- Engage professionally with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
- Collaborate effectively as a team member while also being able to work independently.
