Boston Children's Hospital Clinical Nutrition Manager Job Description

At Boston Children's Hospital, we're committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients and their families. As a Clinical Nutrition Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of nutrition services for our pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nutrition-related goals and objectives, policies, and procedures to improve patient care and departmental operations.
  • Recruit, select, and develop a high-performing Ambulatory Nutrition team, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Administer competency assessments and manage staff performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with departmental operations.
  • Provide direct patient care as needed, utilizing your expertise in pediatric nutrition to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or a closely related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least six years of progressive dietetic experience in pediatric nutrition, with demonstrated project management and leadership skills.
  • Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
