Clinical Nutrition Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nutrition Manager to join our team at Boston Children's Hospital. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in pediatric nutrition, leadership, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, select, and develop a high-performing team of Ambulatory Nutrition staff.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for staff, including orientation, clinical training, and continuing education.
  • Administer competency assessments and manage staff performance, including conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to develop and implement nutrition-related goals, policies, and procedures that improve patient care and operations.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission, DPH, FDA, and CMS.
  • Provide direct patient care as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or closely related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least six years of progressive dietetic experience in pediatric nutrition, including project management and leadership experience.
  • Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
