Are you passionate about nurturing the beauty of nature? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Groundsperson.

Your Role:

As a Groundsperson, you will spend your days outdoors, dedicated to enhancing and maintaining stunning landscapes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing various tasks that promote the health and beauty of grass, flowers, and client relationships. This involves utilizing a range of equipment such as mowers, blowers, clippers, and edgers to prepare soil for planting.
  • Managing setup and cleanup operations, while ensuring the upkeep of our vehicles and machinery.
  • Collaborating effectively with your team members.
  • Implementing safety measures, including the placement of cones and signs, as well as roping off work areas.
  • Assisting climbers by passing tools and using ropes to hoist equipment into trees.
  • Collecting branches, transporting them to the chipper, and efficiently processing tree trunks and chips at designated facilities.
  • Maintaining a safe environment for all operations, job sites, and the general public.
  • Communicating clearly with fellow crew members and the public.

Qualifications:

You may be a great fit if you possess the following:

  • At least 18 years of age, with a dependable and enthusiastic attitude, capable of safely operating equipment such as power saws and cutters.

Preferred Skills:

While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying weights between 35-80 pounds.
  • Previous experience in landscaping is beneficial, along with a basic understanding of horticultural principles.
  • A CDL Driver's License is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are also advantageous.
