About the Role:
The Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of our team at Thrive Communities, responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our properties and providing a safe and secure living environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including unit turns and work orders, to ensure the property is well-maintained and meets our high standards.
- Conduct monthly safety meetings, schedule and perform preventative maintenance, and manage OSHA/SDS safety and reporting requirements to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
- Maintain the grounds and professional appearance of the property, including landscaping and vendor management.
- Manage vendors, such as landscapers and pest control services, to ensure quality service and meet our expectations.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and manage tasks within budget or seek approval for necessary work that is over budget.
- Be on-call for emergency situations and respond promptly to ensure the property is secure and safe.
- Perform other reasonable duties as outlined by your supervisor and strive to exceed resident expectations for excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
- Maintenance experience in multi-family property management is strongly preferred.
- Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) and Certified Pool Operator are desired.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to input data and notes in English into tracking systems.
- A valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage are required.
- Ability to lift/move/push/pull up to 150 lbs on occasion and be on your feet a majority of the day.
