Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and performing various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our dialysis centers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Perform various tasks, such as setting up dialysis machines, mixing acid or bicarb, and monitoring patient vital signs
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet
  • Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed
