Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at California Correctional Health Care Services. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to inmates in a correctional facility setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct preadmission screenings and psychological evaluations of inmates
- Provide individual therapy and crisis intervention services
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Consult with psychiatrists, nurses, and other staff members to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in program evaluation and research, and provide consultation on research design and analysis of data
To be considered for this position, you must possess a valid license as a Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology and an earned Doctorate Degree in Psychology from an educational institution meeting the criteria of Section 2914 of the Medical Board of California's Business and Professions Code.
Additionally, you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Working ConditionsThis position requires travel and may involve working in a correctional facility setting. You must be able to work in a secure environment and adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
