Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  • Loan Coordination: Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting, including loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork.
  • Discrepancy Review: Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation, and report any discrepancies to the loan originator.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as needed, including screening and making calls, booking appointments, and handling customer and in-house inquiries.
Requirements
  • Experience: Preferably 5+ years of experience in a professional office or mortgage environment as a mortgage loan officer assistant or similar position.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of loan financing options, including conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed, commercial loans, etc.
  • Education: College degree in finance or banking preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills.
