Field Engineer I

Job Summary:
Paladin Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer I to join our team. As a Field Engineer I, you will be responsible for representing the company in a professional manner, working on-site to install, configure, and maintain complex systems and networks.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the company in a business-like professional manner to maximize client satisfaction
- Work in compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols
- Maintain accurate written records, including project documentation and time cards
- Participate in training and development of training documentation
- Assist with training technicians on security systems and installation techniques
- Communicate daily with project managers on project status and requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in the IT field, including 1 year of advanced computer skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Covid-19 vaccination required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with Genetec programming
- Associates degree in a technical field
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Professional Competencies:
- Proper hand and power tool operations and safety
- Ability to solve practical problems and work independently
- Strong client and results orientation
- Ability to organize workload and complete projects on time and on budget
Physical Demands:
In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Must be able to effectively communicate, see, hear, speak, and write clearly. Manual dexterity is required for frequent reaching, climbing, and lifting of moderate objects, operation of power and manual tools/equipment, and operating office equipment.
Working Conditions:
In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Site work job conditions are similar to typical construction projects. Additional environments include office spaces, medical, industrial, warehouse, parking ramps, and other. Outdoor work including occasional adverse weather conditions or cold/heat temperatures. Local travel required with occasional overnight travel.
Pay:
$33 - $38/hour (DOE)
