Field Engineer 24-25 College Recruiting Specialist

Turner Construction is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer 24-25 College Recruiting Specialist to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring that all work meets safety standards, is within schedule requirements, and is constructed to the highest level of quality possible.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the implementation of site safety programs and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards and applicable safety codes and regulations.
• Perform line and grade work for building layout and control as required.
• Assist in the maintenance of contract documents and electronic web-based documents for field operations.
• Assist in the preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCR's) and review work as it is being placed to ensure accuracy within accepted tolerances.
• Review contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation.
Requirements:
• Two years of college education from an accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction, or a relevant field.
• Building construction, engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team.
• Demonstrate initiative and a desire to learn.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient with computer applications, data entry, and Microsoft suite of applications.
Work Environment:
The work environment for this position is typically an office or remote setting with occasional work at construction sites. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate in an office setting and moderate to loud at construction sites. Turner is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
