Job Title: Parts Runner

Join Select Water Solutions as a Parts Runner and play a vital role in ensuring our equipment is properly maintained and inventory is on hand when needed.

Job Summary

The Parts Runner will work closely with operations and field technicians to coordinate the delivery of parts, supplies, and equipment. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive company truck to pick up parts and supplies from various vendors.
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of parts orders and inventory needs.
  • Coordinate activities with field technicians, management, and operations teams to reduce non-production travel times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts area, including sweeping, taking out trash, and performing other tasks as required.
  • Operate heavy equipment and drive equipment around job sites.
  • Assist with loading equipment on trailers and perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility to drive a company vehicle according to Select's insurance guidelines.
  • Ability to understand necessary safety procedures and precautions.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer and laptop systems.
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations and use battery and charging system test equipment.

Physical Demands
  • Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat.
  • Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to individually lift up to 50 pounds.
