The Project Manager, Fire Protection is a key member of the ACCO Engineered Systems team, responsible for developing and maintaining a client base, managing sales, and overseeing field labor for each project. This individual will utilize their expertise and judgment to represent the company and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute project management strategies to promote and finalize sales, including concept engineering, complete estimates, written proposals, and direct meetings.
- Manage contracts, including sales, estimating, procurement, and execution, to ensure successful project completion.
- Schedule and coordinate field labor and installation sequencing to meet project deadlines.
- Forecast and prepare budget projections, controlling costs within agreed-upon limits.
- Provide letters, proposals, memos, contracts, change orders, and strategies to ensure good business practices and legal protection.
- Manage billing and job costs to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, including vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.
- Provide supervision, leadership, and coordination of all ACCO departmental efforts, including Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service.
- Contribute to special studies, committees, and initiatives to advance ACCO's technical abilities in engineering, planning, and estimating.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, including consulting with ACCO personnel and attending project management sales and construction meetings.
- Utilize internal resources to their fullest extent, coordinating staff from all departments as needed for each project.
- Act as a mentor to others, actively participating in recruiting, training, and coaching.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in estimating, design, and management of projects from $50,000 to $25+ million.
- Ability to operate independently and autonomously, demonstrating a high sense of integrity.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to develop new business.
- Strong interpersonal and project management abilities, employing strong organizational skills to respond successfully to a high volume of issues.
- Maintain a community presence in an industry-based or community-based organization.

Monday to Friday, starting as early as 6:00 am and ending at 7:00 pm.
TravelBased on business needs to and from the primary office to regional branch offices and job sites. Varying work in varying locations.
Competitive Wages$100,000 to $125,000 Annual Salary. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
