Position Overview: The Audio Production Specialist operates under the guidance of the Technical Director and receives general oversight from the Director of MultiMedia Communications.

Core Responsibilities: This role is pivotal in managing and maintaining all audio apparatus utilized for the amplification and enhancement of worship services and related activities at Trinity United Church of Christ.

Equipment Management: Responsible for the upkeep and operation of all audio devices and duplicators.

Content Creation: Engages in the production of broadcasts and podcasts for distribution to radio outlets.

Audio Production: Generates voiceovers and other audio components for television and internal projects.

Training and Support: Provides training to ministry partners on the utilization of audio equipment and procedures, while overseeing equipment usage.

Audio Reproduction: Responsible for producing all audio materials derived from worship services and activities conducted at TUCC.

Departmental Assistance: Available to support the Technical Director or Director of MultiMedia Communications as needed.

Additional Responsibilities: Undertakes other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications: This position requires an individual with substantial experience and training in audio technology and sound engineering. Previous coursework in mathematics and electronics is advantageous. A technical or college degree is also beneficial.

Work Schedule: The Audio Production Specialist is expected to work a standard forty (40) hours each week, following a schedule arranged and mutually agreed upon with the Production Technical Director.

Confidentiality: Maintaining confidentiality is a fundamental condition of employment. Staff members are required to respect the privacy of information concerning others. Breaches of confidentiality may lead to immediate termination.

Working Environment: Technicians should possess manual dexterity and an aptitude for handling electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems and equipment. The role is performed in a clean, well-lit environment with minimal job hazards; however, physical activities such as lifting, bending, and stooping may be required during the setup and breakdown of broadcast equipment. The ability to lift up to 75 lbs. is necessary, and a willingness to engage in all facets of production is expected.
