Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Accurately and timely document patient information, including AFS, progress notes, and observation sheets.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, adhering to established boundaries.
- Participate in patient rounds and teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Identify and de-escalate crisis situations using non-verbal and verbal techniques.
- Communicate patient status changes to the RN and follow established protocols.
- High School diploma or GED required; two years of college plus one year of clinical experience preferred.
- Previous experience in direct patient care, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records.
