Job Title: Behavioral Health Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to provide essential support and supervision to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities as well as Behavioral Health histories. This role plays a critical part in facilitating healthy and socially acceptable behaviors for our consumers living in community-based settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct Care:
    • Supervise individuals according to their Person-Centered Support Plan.
    • Support in activities of daily living such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and toileting.
    • Assist in community integration activities including medical appointments and accessing social security.
  • Administrative:
    • Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Basic computer and internet literacy.
  • Previous experience in the human services field is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must pass employment screenings, including FBI clearance if applicable.
