Job Summary

This role provides administrative support to department staff, performing a variety of clerical tasks and duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a departmental filing system, making copies, typing, collating, and distributing materials. They will also greet and assist visitors, screen incoming calls, and communicate with patients, families, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a departmental filing system and ensure easy retrieval of documents
  • Perform clerical duties, including typing, collating, and distributing materials

  • Communicate with patients, families, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain clinical/office supply levels and complete supply orders as needed

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). They will also be able to interact with families, staff, and peers in a culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate manner. Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and work as a team player is essential.
