Job Summary

Palo Alto Veterans Institute for Research (PAVIR) is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Administrative Assistant I to provide administrative support for a recently funded NIH/NIA R21 grant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up meetings, maintaining data sharing documents, and assisting with regulatory updates and report writing.

This is a part-time position located on site in Palo Alto, CA.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support, including data sharing and regulatory tasks;
  • Assist with staff events, accreditation preparation, and other administrative tasks as assigned;
  • Support conferences, including room setup, catering, and registration.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • 0-1 year of related experience;
  • Strong organizational skills and professional demeanor;
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive matters;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Ability to follow directions and procedures;
  • Ability to complete tasks independently;
  • Able to work cooperatively and with a positive attitude;
  • Understanding of basic office procedures;
  • Good understanding of filing systems;
  • Skilled in tracking and follow-up methods;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite;
  • Working knowledge of basic office machines.
