Maintenance & Quality Manager - Landscape Construction

Pierre Landscape is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance & Quality Manager to lead our landscape construction team. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our field operations, including safety, training, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee best practices in field installation and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Continuously solicit feedback from field and admin team members to improve operations and best practices.
  • Onboard and train new field staff, working closely with crew leaders to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Monitor and document field productivity and efficiency, tracking production rates and budget vs. actual.
  • Ensure all training materials are accurate and up-to-date, aligning with company guidelines.
  • Visit job sites to connect with crews, educate yourself on field operations, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with daily measures, sharing results with the management team.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental operational processes and procedures.
  • Perform regular assessments of department processes and procedures, updating them as needed.
  • Provide leadership and support to the department to meet goals and vital factors.
  • Ensure effective communication and sharing of information from the field to the proper departments.
  • Supervise and direct maintenance of job site areas, adhering to technical specifications.
  • Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of completed installation projects, meeting design specifications.
  • Facilitate start and end of maintenance, fulfilling specification requirements.
  • Conduct necessary trainings, such as irrigation controller and system training.
  • Mitigate potential financial exposure in warranty claims and resolve accepted claims.
  • Supervise foremen on their duties and responsibilities to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Protect the company's interest by adhering to applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Represent Pierre Landscape in a positive and professional manner, including attitude, appearance, and public relations.
  • Hold a valid California Driver License and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability to follow traffic laws and safety driving practices.
  • Ability to research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays using navigation applications.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Read, write, and understand the English language; bilingual Spanish a must.
