Role Overview:

The Legal Counsel Associate I will play a crucial role in delivering legal guidance across various departments within the organization and its affiliates. This position is integral to achieving corporate goals while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and drafting of insurance products and service agreements.
  • Address legal inquiries related to commercial health plan offerings.
  • Interpret and apply relevant state and federal regulations, including the Affordable Care Act and HIPAA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate legal and regulatory challenges.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution and be licensed to practice law in their respective state or demonstrate the ability to obtain licensure promptly.

Experience:

A minimum of two years of legal experience in corporate, governmental, or law firm settings is required. Candidates with exceptional academic credentials or relevant experience may also be considered.
