About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Counsel to join our US Open Banking team. As a key member of our global open banking legal team, you will provide commercial sales legal support and counsel to our US open banking team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide solution-oriented counsel in support of the commercialization and sales efforts of the US open banking team.
  • Draft and negotiate technology services, partnership, reseller agreements as well as data sharing agreements with financial institutions.
  • Work cross-functionally across product and legal teams on product development and commercialization.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support initiatives of the open banking team in US with potential opportunities to provide support to international colleagues as needed.
  • Take responsibility for special projects while continuing to handle a steady stream of day-to-day matters.
  • Assist with the creation of training materials and guides.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with solid transactional training and experience at a reputable law firm, or as an in-house counsel. You should have strong drafting and negotiating skills across a range of complex commercial contracts and the ability to analyze and identify core legal issues. Experience with technology, open banking and/or other regulated solutions is a specific plus. You should also have keen business insight and strong communication skills to interact confidently and effectively.
