Job Summary

Robbins-Gioia LLC is seeking a highly skilled Transition Manager to support our Department of the Air Force (DAF) customer. This critical role will involve planning and overseeing the execution of operational activities to transition offices from legacy information technology systems into modern systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage and communicate with subordinate staffs and transitioning offices to ensure timely and effective lower-level transition activities
  • Develop strategic communications to inform key stakeholders of transition activities and shape messaging around activities and outcomes
  • Analyze transition processes and identify and implement process changes to improve transition outcomes
  • Develop strategies and contingency plans to address risk and unforeseen issues in transition activities
  • Report on transition activity progress, challenges, and key decisions
  • Conduct training and develop asynchronous training content
  • Perform data analysis activities

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, statistics, computer science, or engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in public procurement
  • Familiarity with ConWrite, ACPS, and/or SPS Contract Writing Systems
  • Familiarity with Federal/DoD/DAF regulations and policies
  • Experience as a staff officer in a large organization at the MAJCOM/equivalent level or above
  • Demonstrated record of superior performance in the management of complex enterprise-wide projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to convincingly deliver organizational change
  • Able to travel occasionally
  • Current Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications
  • DoD Acquisition or DoD PM experience
  • Experience in the use of CON-IT
  • DoD Contracting experience
