Position Overview

As a vital member of our team at The Chefs' Warehouse, the Night Picker plays a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly during the evening hours. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Fulfillment: Review production schedules, customer orders, and shipping requisitions to identify items that need to be picked and prepared for distribution.
  • Sorting and Storing: Organize and place materials on designated racks, shelves, or bins according to specific criteria such as size, type, or product code.
  • Perishable Goods Management: Handle and store perishable items in appropriate refrigerated areas to ensure freshness and compliance with safety standards.
  • Assembly of Orders: Gather and assemble customer orders from stock, ensuring accuracy and quality before placing them on pallets or shelves for dispatch.
