JMS Technical Solutions, Inc. is currently in search of an Inventory Control Manager to enhance our operational team.

This role is a full-time, direct hire position that requires onsite presence.

Compensation will be determined based on experience: $55k-70k

Position Overview: The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring the systematic organization of the inventory section within the facility. This includes overseeing the receiving area, bulk storage, rack storage, and the efficient transportation of materials to key production lines and service areas. The role also involves managing outbound shipments of various items for processing and recycling.

Key Responsibilities: To excel in this position, the individual must effectively manage the following tasks:

  • Maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Supervise a team that includes Inventory Specialists and Inventory Production Associates.
  • Oversee the timely processing of incoming shipments, including paperwork routing and parts inspection.
  • Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Engineer to optimize the layout of inventory using LEAN methodologies.
  • Ensure proper organization and logical placement of parts to facilitate easy access for inventory personnel.
  • Lead the implementation and daily operation of the new Warehouse Management System.
  • Work closely with Purchasing and Engineering to resolve supply chain issues.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and communicate findings to the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Identify and address any discrepancies in part quantities within the warehouse.
  • Manage the quarantine process for unlabeled parts, seeking assistance from Engineering when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse by applying 5S principles.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Education and Experience:

  • A post-secondary education is preferred, though not mandatory. Experience in warehouse supervision is advantageous.
