Position Overview:

The Retail Merchandising Specialist is responsible for managing and stocking inventory, including millwork and various building products such as mouldings, columns, and lumber, within retail environments. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory data using handheld devices, submitting order information, and ensuring effective merchandising of products to boost sales. Building and nurturing strong relationships with suppliers and customers is essential for driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently remove and dispose of cull products in accordance with company policies.
  • Order and replenish inventory for multiple retail locations within a designated area.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier-customer relationships.
  • Adhere to a schedule set by the District Manager, visiting all assigned stores regularly.
  • Ensure products are stocked within 36 hours of delivery, meeting company standards.
  • Utilize office equipment and technology effectively, including smartphones and computers.
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for merchandising and detail, while being self-motivated and adaptable to varying schedules.
