Job Overview

The Human Resources Associate plays a crucial role in facilitating the everyday functions of the Human Resources (HR) division. This position encompasses various HR activities and initiatives, including staffing, remuneration, employee benefits, training programs, and ensuring workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain comprehensive employee records, ensuring accuracy in details such as contact information, job roles, salary structures, and organizational hierarchy.
  • Oversee the management of job vacancies and applications, ensuring timely updates to both internal and external job postings.
  • Evaluate applications for entry-level and non-exempt roles; coordinate and/or conduct initial interviews.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to staffing transitions, including onboarding, promotions, job reassignments, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves.
  • Assist in managing employee benefits programs.
  • Support company-wide informational sessions such as new hire orientations and meetings regarding changes in benefits or retirement plans.
  • Conduct or assist with audits and compliance reports, including I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, and other regulatory reviews.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Experience with HRIS and talent management systems; familiarity with ADP Total Source is advantageous.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in human resource administration is preferred.
Physical Demands:
  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
  • Possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
