Job Overview

Essentra is in search of a motivated Sales Territory Manager to enhance our sales team. This position is pivotal in fostering relationships with existing clients while also pursuing new business opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee a designated sales territory with an established customer base.
  • Provide customer support by presenting tailored proposals, offering samples, generating quotes, and transforming challenges into opportunities.
  • Ensure that your assigned territory achieves defined sales and profit objectives.
  • Optimize profitability at the account level.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Sales Leadership and senior management through regular reporting and updates.
  • Conduct thorough sales assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and growth opportunities within your territory.
  • Deliver strategic insights and solutions based on comprehensive sales data analysis.
  • Evaluate incoming sales leads and respond effectively.
  • Continuously develop and nurture a robust sales pipeline.
  • Coordinate project plans, manage progress, and communicate any changes effectively.
  • Engage in weekly team meetings and cross-departmental discussions.
  • Utilize the Essentra CRM for managing all customer interactions, including opportunities and visit summaries.
  • Establish strong relationships both internally and externally to maximize sales potential.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in business-to-business sales is essential.
  • Experience with industrial supply distribution or reselling is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary, along with the ability to travel.
