Position Overview:

The Technology Asset Management Analyst plays a critical role in overseeing and evaluating technology assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Regions Bank's policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the lifecycle of technology assets from acquisition through to retirement.
  • Analyze technology assets to identify compliance issues and mitigate risks.
  • Address discrepancies and anomalies related to asset discovery and reporting.
  • Participate in sprint planning sessions with technical and business teams.
  • Act as a business requirements authority within an agile team, translating both business and technical needs.
  • Collaborate with business partners to define and prioritize requirements aligned with strategic goals.
  • Facilitate user acceptance training before application updates are deployed.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new technology asset management systems.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts.

This position is exempt from timekeeping regulations under the Fair Labor Standards Act and does not qualify for overtime compensation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with five years of experience in technology asset management.
  • Alternatively, a High School Diploma or GED with nine years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in analyzing asset management data and generating reports to inform decision-making.
  • Experience managing records for infrastructure, end-user, and data center technology assets.
  • Familiarity with tracking technology assets in various environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with industry-standard technology asset management tools.
  • Relevant certifications in technology asset management (e.g., ServiceNow HAM/SAM Pro Implementation Specialist).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to effectively utilize asset management tools and automated discovery processes.
  • Strong project management skills, including scope, timeline, and budget management.
  • Knowledge of hardware, software, and asset management systems.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements related to asset management.
  • Expertise in hardware and software lifecycle management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation.

This position requires proximity to a Regions Bank location. Regions Bank does not provide relocation assistance for this role.
