Position Summary

The Fleet Asset Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the management and maintenance of company assets, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee shop staff and manage inventory across all DMT facilities.
  • Administer the management of all company assets, focusing on minimizing idle equipment.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for contractors in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Input data into management systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate the distribution of permits and registrations for company vehicles.
  • Ensure proper documentation and assignment of permits.
  • Record new equipment acquisitions in the asset management software.
  • Provide support to the maintenance department as required.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Experience in transportation maintenance or shop management is essential.
  • Prior leadership experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

A successful Fleet Asset Supervisor will embody the core values of the company, demonstrating strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders. They should be customer-focused, team-oriented, and possess excellent organizational abilities. The role requires the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently and the flexibility to work varied hours as necessary.
