Key Responsibilities- Implement Asset Protection Programs: Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide asset protection and shortage control programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Store Management: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with store management teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration on asset protection initiatives.
- Investigate and Resolve Incidents: Investigate internal, external, and Organized Retail Crime (ORC) situations in accordance with case procedures, standards, and applicable laws, including apprehensions and timely reporting of incidents to AP leadership.
- Maintain Confidentiality and Security: Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality and act to secure sensitive information, ensuring the integrity of our asset protection programs.
- Support Law Enforcement: Maintain positive relationships between the company and law enforcement personnel, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on asset protection initiatives.
- Operate Security Systems: Assist with the effective utilization and operability of all security systems, ensuring seamless integration with our asset protection programs.
- Complete Special Projects: Complete special projects and other duties as assigned with a teamwork and collaborative approach, ensuring the success of our asset protection initiatives.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with prior retail or asset protection experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion, make critical decisions in high-pressure situations, and solve problems with consideration to the store's needs.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform some lifting (25-50 lbs), climb ladders, scaffolds, and work at heights, and operate photographic and video equipment.
This role reports to the Store Asset Protection Manager or Store Manager and has no direct reports.
