This position will report to the Head of Technology, Cyber, and Data Risk Management within our Enterprise Risk Management division. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing a premier Technology Risk program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining and developing a comprehensive Technology and Cyber Risk Management Framework and program.
  • Establish and ensure compliance with technology and cyber risk frameworks and policies.
  • Independently oversee and provide consultation on technology and cybersecurity strategies and initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate risks associated with technology and cyber processes, activities, and assets.
  • Support the identification, review, challenge, and oversight of technology and cyber issue remediation.
  • Provide independent oversight of technology organizations and associated risks throughout the firm.
  • Participate in the formulation and enhancement of risk appetite statements.
  • Generate Technology, Cyber, and Data risk profiles along with supporting metrics and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of a sustainable oversight model encompassing people, processes, and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in Technology Governance, Information Security, and/or Technology Audit, with a preference for some risk management experience.
  • Familiarity with compliance regarding laws, rules, and regulations is advantageous.
  • Experience in strategic planning, program development, and execution is essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results effectively.
  • Strong influence and negotiation skills are necessary.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Technology and Cyber Disciplines (architecture, SDLC, network, etc.) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry frameworks (COBIT, CRI, NIST, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience in technology disciplines, including data management, software development, or technology infrastructure, is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's/University degree in Technology or 8+ years of relevant technology experience is required.
