Overview

As a Procurement Specialist, your primary role will be to acquire goods, materials, and services necessary for the operational efficiency of the company, while balancing cost, quality, and timely delivery to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and submit purchase orders in accordance with established protocols to meet urgent demands and turnaround requirements.
  • Verify that invoices from suppliers correspond with the projected forecasts.
  • Conduct daily reviews of outstanding purchase orders to ensure precision and timely delivery.
  • Address potential issues through proactive communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the payment process for purchase orders by receiving invoices and ensuring they align with the respective purchase order line items.
  • Engage with internal clients and/or vendors to resolve discrepancies between invoices and orders.
  • Manage purchase order records to ensure their closure and completeness.
  • Assist in the onboarding of suppliers and the management of contracts in collaboration with the Procurement Coordinator.
  • Ensure that suppliers adhere to established compliance standards.
  • Utilize advanced Excel spreadsheets and formulas to analyze, interpret, and act on relevant data.
  • Guarantee that all purchase orders are generated in accordance with the Procurement/Purchasing Policy.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary, not exceeding 10% of the time.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related discipline from an accredited institution, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation: $66,000 - $66,000 per year

Shift: Regular full-time
