About the Role

Program Manager - Design for Excellence Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team at Philips. As a Program Manager - Design for Excellence Consultant, you will play a key role in driving business transformation and improving profitability through the implementation of Design for Excellence (DfX) principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a 12-18 month business and profitability improvement roadmap in collaboration with business and function partners.
  • Coach project team members on Design for Excellence methodology to create an extended network of expertise and drive talent transformation.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and projects that change the way work is done within the team and across the business.
  • Support knowledge management through maintaining and expanding our toolkit and best practice database.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Engineering or other technical background) + MBA or equivalent experience.
  • Professional with 10+ years strong track record leading cross-functional projects, developing teams, with high level of comfort with ambiguity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Project Management principles, SAFe/Agile, Continuous improvement (e.g. LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen techniques), value proposition creation and/or design thinking.
  • Proficient with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau, R, SQL, Python, OBS).
  • Previous experience in a regulated market (e.g. medical device, aerospace, automotive) with prior consulting, medical device experience a plus.
