About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child Care Leadership Professional to join our team as the Assistant Director at the New Ragon Children's Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our daily operations, from administration and educational programming to coaching teachers and orienting new families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Quality and Compliance: Regularly monitor the center's programs to assess quality and ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, health and safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Lead and mentor staff to maintain an inclusive environment and positive relationships with families, staff, and clients.
  • Center Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the center, including administration, staff management, and program development.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree in early childhood education or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least two years of leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience required; two to four years of professional child care teaching experience required; experience working in a NAEYC-accredited center strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and coaching skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children.
