We are currently looking for an Operations Team Lead who shares our commitment to customer satisfaction. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and effective receipt, storage, and dispatch of a diverse range of products. This position involves leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating activities, and upholding high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a background in logistics or warehouse management, and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receipt of orders delivered to the warehouse;
  • Organize and sort items, including palletizing and crating;
  • Provide regular performance reports on warehouse operations and key metrics to the operations leadership;
  • Safely move, pick, pack, and scan items;
  • Utilize tools such as scanners, carts, hand trucks, and dollies;
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and timely;
  • Consistently apply 5S processes;
  • Create an inspiring team environment with open communication;
  • Train new employees on company standards and procedures;
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates;
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow;
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and updates;
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, including stock counts;
  • Implement and maintain warehouse processes to maximize efficiency;
  • Enforce safety standards to ensure a secure working environment;
  • Address and resolve issues related to damaged or missing goods;
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities and resolve issues;
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred;
  • Demonstrated experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity;
  • Strong leadership and team management skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities;
  • Proficient in warehouse management software and the Google Suite;
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs);
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking;
  • Possession of a valid forklift license.
