The Logistics Warehouse Operative is essential to the seamless functioning of our warehouse operations. As a key member of our team, you will undertake a variety of tasks that are critical to ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently and meets the needs of our clients. Your role will involve a diverse set of responsibilities centered around order fulfillment, stock management, and maintaining the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and finalize orders for dispatch or collection as per the schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
  • Maintain equipment and assets in optimal condition for operational readiness.
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and equipment.
  • Verify that all orders are accurately assembled, inspected for quality, and prepared for shipment.
  • Receive and manage warehouse stock items (pick, unload, label, store).
  • Assist in the reception, unloading, and proper storage of incoming stock.
  • Promptly identify and report any damaged, expired, or low-stock items.
  • Conduct inventory checks and uphold high-quality standards for audits.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment while optimizing space usage.
  • Inform supervisors of any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Complete daily logs and report any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Propose ideas for process enhancements, efficiencies, or workflow improvements to boost warehouse operations.
  • Operate and perform preventive maintenance on warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Adhere to quality service standards and comply with established procedures, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum Education: High School diploma, equivalent, or Technical degree.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook) is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of G Suite (Gmail / Drive / Sheet / Forms / Docs) is advantageous but not required.
  • Certification to operate heavy machinery (e.g., Forklift) is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Understanding of heavy machinery and various types of equipment and vehicles.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical stamina and the capability to walk, stand, and lift for extended periods.
