Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and workflows for yourself and team members.
  • Support the Assistant Warehouse Manager with routine inventory assessments.
  • Manage the loading and receiving of palletized shipments.
  • Regularly operate forklifts as part of daily tasks.
  • Facilitate the loading and unloading of export containers.
  • Contribute to maintaining an organized warehouse environment.
  • Ensure proper product and case segregation.
  • Conduct inventory counts and manage cycling processes.
  • Perform data entry tasks as required.
  • Guide and mentor team members to enhance their skills.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in loading and unloading export containers.
  • Intermediate proficiency with computers; familiarity with Outlook and warehouse management software (WMS) is advantageous, though training will be provided.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • At least 5 years of experience in operating various types of forklifts (including sit-down, stand-up, and electric pallet jacks).
  • Capability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a climate-controlled setting.
  • 2-5 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
