We are in search of a skilled and dedicated individual to provide support for our esteemed clients.

Position Overview:


The Technical Support Manager is responsible for delivering advanced on-site and remote assistance for computer systems, servers, printing devices, peripherals, and teleconferencing technology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting site assessments to evaluate and document existing configurations and user needs.
  • Analyzing current requirements and drafting specifications for hardware procurement.
  • Creating engineering plans and comprehensive Technical Design Packages for site installations.
  • Developing schedules for hardware installations and preparing detailed drawings to document configuration modifications.
  • Generating installation and testing reports.
  • Configuring computers, communication devices, and peripheral equipment.
  • Providing training to site personnel on the effective use of hardware.
  • Building specialized interconnecting cables.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and testing computer systems, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing technology.
  • Installing and configuring computer systems, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing technology along with necessary cabling.
  • Maintaining government and vendor-manufactured fiber optic modems, multiplexers, fiber optic/Ethernet cables, and telephone systems.
  • Updating technical schematics using AutoCAD software as required.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, with zero to two years of relevant experience, and hold an 8570 Certification. A Security+ certification is preferred. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline may substitute for years of experience.

Essential skills include:

  • Proficiency in installing, repairing, and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Experience with installing operating systems, software applications, antivirus programs, and updates.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in providing remote support to end-users.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and support staff.
  • Physical capability to operate a company vehicle and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work an 8-hour shift during designated hours.

Security Clearance:

Candidates must possess a TS/SCI polygraph clearance.
