Mainframe Production Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Production Support Specialist to join our team at nTech Workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the health of our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless system performance.
  • Provide backup support for the shift lead and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems in real-time, applying technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Schedule and manage tasks, procedural tasks, and technology consulting tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with established procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with CA7, CICS, DB2, UNIX, Windows, TCP/IP, VTAM, and SAN technology.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
