Job OverviewWe're seeking a Bioinformatics Scientist who will play a key role in expanding the technical capabilities of our platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in machine learning, classification and clustering algorithms, sequencing technologies, and computational biology.

Responsibilities- Lead the data handling, analysis, and algorithm development efforts for multi-omics data, especially single-cell RNA-Seq and spatial transcriptomics.
- Develop, validate, and optimize computational pipelines and prediction models.
- Collaborate closely with scientists and engineers to build innovative bioinformatics solutions that improve scientific workflows and research outcomes.
- Apply creative problem-solving and scientific insight to expand Foundry's capabilities and identify new research opportunities.
- Maintain a keen understanding of current trends in multi-omics technologies and incorporate these insights into our platform's evolution.
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in sequencing technologies, with a focus on bulk, single-cell, and spatial omics.
- Fluency in scripting languages (Python, R, Perl, ) and proficiency in R-Shiny
- Knowledge of database management, including ANSI SQL, NoSQL(Mongo), and experience with fast, scalable data storage solutions.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Singularity, and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple projects, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of innovation, creativity, and deep scientific curiosity.
