Bioinformatics Software Engineer

Collabera is seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatics Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and pipeline automation, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize data analysis workflows for speed and usability
- Develop and implement standardized analytical workflows and processes
- Design and build complete solutions with a proven track record of successful projects
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Bioinformatics
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, with experience in data analysis and machine learning libraries
- Practical experience with deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS and batch computing services like AWS Batch
