Position Overview

VPG Enterprise is seeking a dedicated Construction Project Coordinator. This role is pivotal in managing the administrative aspects of our construction initiatives, ensuring that all necessary materials are delivered promptly and within financial constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting on-site evaluations of construction progress
  • Interpreting project specifications and architectural plans accurately
  • Assessing and reviewing project budgets to ensure compliance
  • Coordinating construction activities while adhering to legal regulations
  • Collaborating with various departments to meet project timelines
  • Assisting contractors in reviewing contract documents and identifying project deficiencies
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Documenting construction activities and monitoring project advancement.
Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination among teams, project managers, and contractors
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with other managers and departments
  • Proficient time management abilities to meet project deadlines
  • Computer proficiency for maintaining accurate records of construction materials
  • Effective management skills to oversee project schedules
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or a bachelor’s degree in a construction-related discipline.
Requirements:
  • Ability to pass background checks, including criminal, drug, and driving screenings
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel locally up to 25%
  • Capability to occasionally lift and carry office materials weighing up to twenty pounds.
