Job Summary

VPG Enterprise is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Project Manager to lead our construction projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
    • Coordinate with project engineers, superintendents, and project managers to ensure project goals are met
    • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives
    • Collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and contractors
  • Contract Management and Negotiation
    • Negotiate contracts with external vendors and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms and conditions
    • Manage and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, including OSHA regulations
    • Develop and implement quality control and safety procedures to minimize risks and ensure project success
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including project teams, owners, and contractors
    • Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, financial reports, and risk assessments
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience
    • 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with a minimum of 5 years in project management
    • Proven track record of successful project delivery, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
