Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee various projects during the construction phase to ensure optimal quality, budget compliance, and timely completion.
  • Track and maintain project timelines within budget constraints, adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Manage the procurement, generation, tracking, and review of all project-related submissions as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Compile and update project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, and maintain comprehensive files for due diligence and financial tracking.
  • Ensure precise approvals for accounts payable and receivable.
  • Uphold safe working conditions, supervise contractor safety processes, and adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach to fulfilling client and project requirements efficiently and cost-effectively.
Experience and Educational Background:
  • Minimum of five years' experience as an Assistant Project Manager within a General Contracting or sub-trade environment.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Building Construction or a related field is preferred or in progress.
General Qualifications:
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and conduct project cost analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with team members, contractors, city officials, lenders, and clients.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects is essential.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and capacity to meet concurrent deadlines.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Excel applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation is required.
