Job Title: Value Stream Leader - Materials Management

Pall Corporation, a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification, is seeking a highly skilled Value Stream Leader - Materials Management to join our team. As a key member of our Materials Management team, you will play a vital role in optimizing the performance of the materials value stream through implementing and maintaining lean conversion principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive materials management strategy to drive business results and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee Shipping/Outbound, Receiving, Stockroom, Packaging, Material Handling, and Material Flow operations to ensure seamless execution.
  • Establish and maintain performance metrics for all areas of responsibility, guiding teams to achieve Value Stream, Site-specific, and Corporate KPIs.
  • Implement optimal material and inventory management practices to maintain transactional accuracy and support cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional resources to modernize facilities, equipment, and material flow operations, enhancing capacity, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Engage with leadership to formulate plans and strategies for enhancing SQDIP performance of designated Value Streams.
  • Monitor planning attributes to ensure effective planning, including MPS/MRP/Min-Max planned, safety stock requirements, and planning/demand time fence.
  • Utilize the 8-D Format for troubleshooting and communicating instances of non-conformance to enhance quality performance.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Materials Management, including 3 years in a supervisory role with extensive involvement in operations, supply chain, planning, receiving, shipping, and material flow.
  • Demonstrated understanding of fundamental accounting and financial procedures within an operational or manufacturing setting.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in operating effectively within a matrix environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Tornado, etc.
Physical/Environment Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance daily.
  • Successful completion of the visual acuity examination.
  • Applicants must be capable of standing for prolonged periods (a minimum of 8 hours) and frequently twisting and bending.
  • Must be able to work with solvents, oils, and other chemicals.
